Don't you just love it when . . .

You realize at 5:30 that you forgot you have a group of people coming to your house at 7, and you haven't even given a thought to dinner (which has to be cooked, eaten and cleaned up before they arrive) or to getting the house ready?

I hope someone besides me does that sort of thing occasionally.

Update: We had waffles for dinner, which the kids loved of course, and it was all finished and cleaned up by the time company came. DH helped pick up the house (as usual--he's a great guy), and we had a great group meeting (It's a Bible study/fellowship group). I'll post a highlight tomorrow.
