Hehe, fun! I love that song, too. I skated to it for a skating competition once. Did you get to come to that one?

The info we learned the song from also says it was written by Larry Hanks in 1966, though the last verse was added on my an elementary school class.

As for it being different, it might be just that you remember it a little different, 'cause you have the tune just a tad different in some spots, too. I sing it a third different way--a tad different from the music and from your way! LOL!

Neat and catchy song... perhaps a bit too catchy... "hey, ho, you'll lose your mind, if you sing this song about a hundred times." :)

Maybe the audio quality could be improved, but you have a nice voice.
