What to Wear?
I think I've narrowed it down to these two possibilities (the blue skirt is too big in the waist and needs to be altered if I keep it):
Or these, if de-wrinkled (I've got the striped blouse in the wash now and will hopefully upload a better picture without the weird wrinkles in it soon):
Or maybe the blue top would look better with a black skirt, if I can find one that's the right style and fabric to go with it? Here it is with black slacks to give the general idea:
Any opinions? It's an afternoon wedding, and I'm guessing we may end up in a photo or two. DH is wearing black pants with a tan jacket and multicolored tie.
Oh, BTW AJ and M&M took all but one of the photos.

I really like three of the first four outfits (blue, pink/black, grey/black). I think all of those look lovely on you and are pretty and appropriate.
I think the striped blouse looks a bit casual compared to the other choices, and I like the blue top better with its matching skirt, though the need for alteration is annoying.
Good luck deciding (I'm also terrible at that sort of thing) and HAVE FUN at the wedding.
I agree with Madeleine. Of those four, the pink/black is my favorite and the blue is my second favorite.
If it were me, I'd keep those two and get the blue altered to fit properly.
Have a fantastic time at the wedding!
The grey/black is also gorgeous, but more for a night out, I think. And maybe the skirt needs to be a touch shorter or you need to wear heels with it (a problem I deal with all the time).
My vote is for the blue. I agree the striped top is too casual and the gray outfit is pretty but probably not a good choice for an afternoon wedding. The pink and black outfit makes you look a bit older, I think. I'm sure whatever you pick will be fine though. In the end just go and have a good time!
I think the blue looks the nicest for the occasion. I really LOVE the striped shirt outfit, though. I'd ask to borrow it, but I'm guessing you're not close to my size! : )
The pink/black is definitely my favorite. But, the all-blue is my second vote. --Kathy J
Wow, thanks everyone!
Keike, the striped blouse came from JC Pen~ney.
Hmmm, so you don't think the blue floral is too "loud" for my frame? I like it, but wasn't sure if it was a bit "much".
The pink/black is one I already owned, so I think I may just go with that one. The jacket is a bit big (and I hate shoulder pads!), but not too bad.
There is also a brown option . . . I'll add a picture of it.
(Came over from the Whine.)
I think the all blue is beautiful (prettier than the blue with black skirt), but if the wedding is this weekend, I'll bet you don't have time to get it altered. The grey/black is lovely, but maybe too sedate if the wedding is an outdoor wedding. The pink/black is nice, but I'm with you about shoulder pads. Of course, I don't know you, so I can shut my mouth any time. ;)
Let's see the brown one!

Amy, you're welcome to comment any time! I believe the wedding is in a church, not outdoors.
The pink/black one is not new (I've had it for a few years), and would be OK without alteration, so I'm leaning toward just wearing that. I like the blue outfit, but it's a bit expensive for my budget even before paying for alterations, so I may end up taking it back and then watching for it to go on sale. :)
The pink and black is my first choice, with the black floral outfit second. With the black/grey one, though, could you convince DH to wear a darker jacket?
I personally love the Blue outfit, it looks very fitting for a wedding.
Good luck with your choice.
Enjoy the day
Lots of Love Carolynn xxx :-)
Thank you all. I ended up wearing the pink jacket outfit, and it was nice.
