Sadness

Badger's husband, Mr. Badger, has ended his battle with cancer. He was just 34, and left a wife and son behind. Please go on over and offer your condolences at Badger's blog, Badgerings.

How very sad. I also lost a friend to cancer last week. Her services are tomorrow, and her husband and two adolescent sons are shattered. We are, too.

Hope all is well with you and your three beloved little ones. From your posts, you sound tired...which is absolutely normal, of course.

You are so very blessed. Now if a friend could just come over and take a child-watching shift...you could catch a delicious nap!

Dear Friends,

We sympathize with the Badgering family in their loss, but hope it was a graduation to heaven for the poor fellow who suffered so.

For those of us who have accepted Christ's death as payment for all of our sins, there is no fear of death, only of the suffering which precedes it, and to depart the earth to be with our Lord is "far better."

We know the God of all comfort, and trust the family to Him.
