I've turned on the word verification thing on comments. So now when you leave a comment you have to type in some random letters to verify that you're a human and not a spambot. Please let me know if it's too annoying.
**Update**: I liked Juno and Liz's idea of a game making up meanings for the non-words in the verifier box. So if you feel like joining in below, feel free!
Lots of blogs have it on now and except for the fact that I mistype the word half of the time, I do not mind it. So, maybe I am just an idiot. Oh well, anything to keep the spam away.
Or a game that's a combination between leapfrog and tag, Liz
Thanks for stopping by, Juno! Welcome.
CCW, I hear ya. The worst ones are the ones that have so much "noise" in the background that you can't tell how many letters there are supposed to be. At least the Blogger version seems slightly less annoying.
This was fat--in a good way, of course. That was 4 weeks ago. At the moment I weigh 138 lbs, which is pretty good for 3 weeks after having a 9-lb. baby, methinks.
I know, brightstar. I thought about just deleting it, but then I decided to highlight just how ridiculous stupid comments like that are.
Besides, even though I think it was intended to be an insult, it wasn't much of one. I still have some baby weight to lose, but I like myself just fine.
Some of the most beautiful people I know are large in both stature and in heart. Beauty and value are not to be found in the amount of a particular type of cell in your physique, and have nothing to do with metabolism.
DH (Dear Husband) and I have been married 15 years and have 4 girls: AJ, age 13; M&M, age 12; Ebee, who is 9; and Baby Nae, born in December 2013.
God has been faithful to sustain us despite my health challenges (which include fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue immune dysfunction syndrome (ME), migraines, a genetic connective tissue disorder called Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS), and occasional extra fun twists like the year I had mono on top of it all. :)
Since removing excitotoxins from my diet as part of a clinical research study in 2009, my health has improved considerably.
Ebee has grown out of her food allergies and intolerances, and all four kids are happy, healthy and doing great. We're in a season of enjoying life very much right now.

I think the word verification thing is getting to be common practice now.
Then there's the added perk of trying to come up with definitions for the bizarre words displayed.
Have a great weekend!
Anything's better than comment spam!
My word is tagfrq. Hmmmm. Tag Frock. A dress you get on sale?

PK, you're totally not fat! I weigh more than that, and I haven't had a baby! :) Anonymous is weird, I think.
tbjjoox? I'm not creative enough to define that, but this is kind of like attempting to play balderdash while commenting. :)

Miz let 'em nod (definition; Lady, I am so tired. Miz, let 'em nod)
*Anyone try to leave a comment more than once to get a word you can work with, or is it just me?*
LOL, Phantom . . . trust you to use a word like ubiquitous. I think you have a more extensive vocabulary than most.
R2Ks, that totally sounds like something I would do.
