About Me
- Name: purple_kangaroo
- Location: United States
I'm a creative, intense, honest and adventurous person with a love for God and people.
DH (Dear Husband) and I have been married 15 years and have 4 girls: AJ, age 13; M&M, age 12; Ebee, who is 9; and Baby Nae, born in December 2013.
God has been faithful to sustain us despite my health challenges (which include fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue immune dysfunction syndrome (ME), migraines, a genetic connective tissue disorder called Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS), and occasional extra fun twists like the year I had mono on top of it all. :)
Since removing excitotoxins from my diet as part of a clinical research study in 2009, my health has improved considerably.
Ebee has grown out of her food allergies and intolerances, and all four kids are happy, healthy and doing great. We're in a season of enjoying life very much right now.
Thanks for visiting!

Sorry about your van.
My car broke down this morning too!!!! I got in the car to drive to work and it just wouldn't start so I had to run to the subway (3/4 of a mile away) to get to work. Sorry you are facing the same thing, but with the 3 babes! That is too much.
bummer. I hate car trouble more than almost anything.
Ugh! I hate that.
But on the bright side, now you have something specific you can ask of your church acquaintances.
Man! When it rains, it pours! I'm sorry to hear that. (Save all that whine up for Wednesday Whine at Phantom's! You'll win for sure!)
Oh my, PK. That is an over-the-top moment, the one where you get to just collapse in your chair and giggle with hysteria for 20 minutes, or until you scare the children.
I agree with Liz. Time to work the phones with your church friends!
Thanks, all of you!
Halloweenlover, I hope your car gets fixed soon!
Phantom, I have to admit I didn't giggle. I cried.
What's funny, though, and helped to lighten the situation, is that I really was thinking, "Wow, this will be great for the Wednesday Whine."
And, yes it gave me a few specific things to ask of church friends, who were more than willing to oblige. :)
