Airborne article update

I just wanted to note that I've made a couple of corrections to my earlier post on Airborne and reorganized the chart a bit to make it easier to read and follow.

The 4 nutrients that are in excess are Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Zinc and Manganese (Manganese overdose can give the same symptoms as Magnesium overdose).

Wow--I first bought it because I read about it here. But wow. I will be careful too!

Thanks for the blogs on Airborne. I was looking for information about it because I just had a bad experience with it. By the way, the package I have, which is expiration dated 11-09, carries NO caution about how many to take or how long. It just says 1 every three hours.

I'd been taking 1 or 2 Airborne to stave off an incipient cold for a few days, but it finally got me on Friday. I upped the dosage of Airborne to the recommended "every three hours" when I got the full-blown version. Each time I'd take it, the cold seemed a little improved. But then I began to feel like I was getting the flu. It got to the point that I was so weak, I could barely stand up to go out to the kitchen to get another Airborne dose. But I did. This went on all Saturday and Sunday, almost every 3 hrs.

Finally, yesterday I put it together. Airborne has a small amount of selenium in it, and I know from experience I can't take selenium. I go down like an unplugged lamp. My husband is the same. More than once we've tried supplements that have selenium and the reponse has been total enervation. I usually look to make sure there's none in products I take, but I missed this one.

So I'm sitting here trying to get my strength back. And feeling really smart for dosing myself with that stuff for two days.
